As we transition to a Community (from a Service Unit), roles within the local structure have been redefined. We welcome new team members at any time.
There are several specific roles open within the Community:
- Community Membership Leader – coordinates recruitment events within the Spring Lake Park service area. Works with council staff on year-round events.
- Community Product Leader – Champion the Cookie Program. You’ll train troop volunteers, distribute materials and rewards, help troops with the online system, and more.
- Community Team Member – Offer support to your local Girl Scout adult volunteer team as when you can! You might help other volunteers during their busiest seasons, fulfill episodic needs identified in your Girl Scout Community, or learn more about the different volunteer opportunities.
- Community Troop Support Leader – Use resources wisely by being a resource for Girl Scout troops. Use your knowledge and experience to coach and mentor troops in your Community. Welcome in new troops, answer questions, and be a support for new troop leaders navigating their first year.
Each is a one-year commitment.
